To Alex

Eyes of hazel, thick brown hair
You are a mother's dream.
The miracle I was wishing for.
Other Moms know what I mean.

You were a precious baby,
Now you are a special boy.
You always know how to bring me,
A very special kind of joy.

You'll always be my favorite guy.
My boog, my bud, my pal
Your laugh and your hugs, I love the best
They let me know I'm your favorite gal.

Right now you love to hold my hand,
And read me your favorite books
And even when you get into trouble,
You just give me one of your looks.

You're clever, you're smart and you're funny
You're always so curious to know
How everything works, why everything is,
And how does everything grow.

You'll always be my little guy.
And your smile will melt my heart.
Even when you move away from home,
We'll never be apart.

No matter where you go in life,
And no matter what you do,
Just always remember in your heart,
How much I LOVE YOU!!

with love from Mommy
