Meet the Author



Hello everyone! My name is Renee. When I was a little girl I loved to write. I would write short stories and poetry. I would write about anything. Some of my favorite subjects were aliens and my friends. I think now that some of my friends might be aliens. I also loved to write fairy tales. I wanted to be a queen and live in a castle. I wanted to find fairies and be their friend. Now I'm older and wiser (so I think), but I still love to write. I love to read and sometimes I even try to draw. Some things haven't changed though. I still want to be a queen and live in a castle. And I will always believe in fairies.

I live in Florida with my two favorite guys. First is my husband Eric who is not only my best friend and soulmate, but the very patient and magnificent man who helped me put this page together. Without him I probably would have never shared any of these poems with you. Next is my wonderful son Alex. The love of my life! What can I say, I'm a proud Mommy! He's perfect. Well, he has his moments, but for the most part, he's great! He loves to read and has recently found out that he has a talent for creative writing and drawing. The section of my page titled "From the Heart" is dedicated to my fantastic kid, my inspiration for writing poetry and stories for children. He says he loves my work, but I think he just loves his Mommy. I love you Alex!

Ever since my parents first read some of the silly things I wrote way back in 4th grade, they always new that I wanted to be a writer. So I dedicate this website to all of my family, Mom, Nise & Mel (family nicknames), who always believed that my poetry, stories and silly drawings were actually worth sharing with others. And to my new nephew Jonah, a new inspiration to write for, I love you very much! I also dedicate this website in memory of my Dad who passed away on February 6, 2005. He will always be my hero. He always believed in me and continues to be an inspiriation and my biggest fan even in his spirit life. I love you and I miss you Dad and I know that you are with me every day!
