A Tiny Wish Away

A tiny boy
who lived in a tiny house
with his tiny family
was playing outside one night.

The tiny boy looked up
into the big night sky.
The tiny boy saw a tiny star
twinkling at him.
The tiny star was very bright.
The tiny boy liked the tiny star.

The tiny boy called up
to the tiny star.
The tiny boy
asked the tiny star
how far away it was.
The tiny boy
asked the tiny star
if it had any friends.
The tiny star
did not answer the tiny boy.

The tiny boy went inside the tiny house.
The tiny boy asked his mother
how far away the tiny star was.
The tiny boy's mother did not know.
The tiny boy asked his father
how far away the tiny star was.
The tiny boy's father did not know.
The tiny boy asked his sister
how far away the tiny star was.
The tiny boy's sister did not know.

The tiny boy
went back outside.
The tiny boy
closed his tiny eyes.
The tiny boy
made a tiny wish
on the tiny star.
The tiny boy opened his tiny eyes.
The tiny boy got a very big surpise.

Millions of tiny stars were twinkling
in the very big night sky.

The tiny star
was shining the brightest
in the big night sky.

The tiny boy smiled
a very big smile.
The tiny boy knew
that the tiny star
was only as far
as a tiny wish away.
